To all IBEW Local 77 Members: Please read this important message below from our International President, Lonnie Stephenson. The 2020 National Election season is ramping up, and the Washington Presidential Primary will be March 10th. 

With all the national attacks against workers and Unions, it’s critically important that we support a presidential candidate who supports and will protect our Union foundation, middle-class wages, safety, working conditions, and medical benefits.  These conversations can be difficult, but they are necessary.

Some candidates have a track record of NOT supporting Unions, and this is a problem.  You will receive some information soon from the Local Union to demonstrate details and facts on which candidates support Unions and working people, and those who do not.

Please take some time to review this information, and do some research.  Keep in mind that we need a President who honestly supports Unions, safety in the workplace, will protect pensions, building the middle class, will strengthen our apprenticeships, and will lower healthcare costs for our families.  Thank you!
